Comprised of a dedicated group of musically talented mates, The GN Band features members of Porridge Radio, Joanna Gruesome, SUEP & more. Given their collective accolades, it's unsurprising that their new single 'The Line' is an absolute gem. Featuring soft yet snappy beats, groovy post-punk-flavoured bass guitar wiggles and squiggles around subtle keys as vocalist George “GN” Nicholls Arthur Rusell-esque vocals are melodic and carefree. Tastefully incorporating both a fiddly guitar and breezy sax solo (contributed by Nathan from Rough Trade’s progressive-folk favourites caroline), 'The Line' is an optimistically reflective piece that has it all. -Holly Mullineaux
